Hydroxo-Adeno B12 – 120 tablets

Apollo’s Hegemony Hydroxo-adeno B12 is a dietary supplement containing vitamin B12 in two unmethylated forms – adenosylcobalamin and hydroxocobalamin. These are the forms naturally found in the body and food.

Adenosylcobalamin also referred to as “mitochondrial vitamin B12” has 5-deoxyadenosine in its molecule. It is the bioactive form of vitamin B12, requiring no further metabolic changes.

Hydroxocobalamin is a form of vitamin B12 that has a hydroxyl (-OH) group in its structure. It is an inactive form, and in the body, it is metabolized to active methylcobalamin and adenosylcobalamin.

Vitamin B12 contributes to the maintenance of normal energy metabolism, supports the normal functioning of the nervous system, and helps in preserving optimal psychological functions. In addition, vitamin B12 takes part in the production of red blood cells and participates in the metabolism of homocysteine.
