2As part of a reduced energy diet, glucomannan contributes to weight loss. The beneficial effects can be achieved by taking 3 g of glucomannan a day as part of a reduced energy diet, in three daily doses of 1 g each, with 1–2 glasses of water, to be taken before meals.
